Description
Theater Blood Mobile (TBLD-M) supports the Armed Services blood program’s mission to provide overall blood management services to United States military personnel around the globe. TBLD-M equips decision makers with accurate details of blood product availability, as well as a detailed record of patient, donor, and transfusion history. The application delivers real-time blood tracking of walking blood bank candidates and blood products at both local and aggregated levels. Additionally, the application manages donor prescreening, blood collection, Walking Blood Bank administration, transfusion tracking and full lifecycle management of blood product assets, including quality control, quarantine, and destruction. TBLD-M enables local and enterprise-level reporting on blood inventory, movement, and transfusions to support operational visibility, traceability, and future supply-demand forecasting. It will serve as the first enterprise capability to provide a visible blood inventory management operation in disconnected, intermittent, and low-bandwidth environments across all echelons of care.
