Description
Research shows that delayed time to first transfusion in hemorrhagic shock increases mortality. New military transfusion programs give servicemembers the ability to collect fresh whole blood in nearly any context to provide transfusion just-in-time before medical personnel or evacuation even arrive. This poster evaluates available whole blood collection techniques to identify the timeliest methods for just-in-time donation.
