This session provides an overview of the Joint Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (JKSA) Clinical Readiness Program as the Military Health System’s enterprise approach to assessing and sustaining wartime medical readiness. Panelists will review the current state of specialty-specific Knowledge and Skills Assessments, discuss the operationalization of automated clinical activity measurement, and examine methods for measuring nursing competencies and distinguishing clinical currency from mission readiness. The session also addresses the role of dental provider readiness in supporting a medically ready force, highlighting how JKSA integrates knowledge, skills, and clinical activity to inform enterprise readiness assessment.
