This educational program is designed to equip participants with an update on prostate cancer genetic testing. By the end of this activity, participants will be able to explain the biological role and clinical relevance of HRR gene mutations; differentiate between germline and somatic testing approaches and appropriate specimen types; apply current clinical guideline recommendations to identify optimal patients and timing for testing; recognize real-world gaps, barriers, and disparities in HRR testing; and evaluate best practices for integrating HRR testing results into multidisciplinary clinical workflows to inform prognosis, treatment decision-making, and care coordination.
