Name
#173 - Dayton's History of Innovation Continues at the Dayton VA
Date & Time
Monday, February 12, 2024, 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Description

Dayton Ohio has an extensive history of innovators and inventions, from the Wright Brothers and the airplane to the cash register to the pop top. That spirit of ingenuity continues at the Dayton VA with our new Minimally Invasive Nodule Therapy (MINT) Clinic. It’s a one stop shop to get a biopsy, PET scan and Pulmonary Function Testing in the same day. Our innovations continue with our Military Environmental Exposure Non-Registry template and cancer navigation class and infographic, both of which made it to the Shark Tank competition. The Dayton VA was also the first VA in Ohio to use artificial intelligence with the GI Genius for colonoscopies.
