Our presentation will discuss the popularity of exercise supplements in the military population and its unregulated marketing and advertising. Many supplements are advertised to improve exercise performance and fitness while having agents that target hormone receptors and CBD-receptors. One supplement in particular, Stabilize HERS has a known CBD-receptor agonist that elicited bipolar mania in a young active duty service member. Our presentation aims to discuss the effect of hormone and CBD agents on the health of our military members within a supplement market that is largely unregulated.
