Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) is working to develop and improve modern health care delivery applications for service members. A critical and especially challenging component of health care delivery in the operational environment is assurance of blood availability and blood safety.

Learning Outcomes
1.Participants will be better able to understand and interpret the technological, organizational and practical challenges of designing operational medicine applications that are integrated holistically to serve both health care providers’ requirements for accurate patient histories and medical commanders’ needs for global situational awareness.<br />
2.Participants will be able to understand and describe to others the individual functions and objectives of JOMIS operational medicine applications.<br />
3.Participants will gain a better understanding of the Theater Blood Mobile (TBLD-M) application and its functions and features upon deployment.
