Technology outcomes are in four categories with three specific areas in each category as described below.
1. Seamless Integration for Comprehensive Care in Radiation Oncology
1.1. Integration of Patient Data Across Systems
Patient Care Systems Integration Platform (PCSIP) integrates patient data seamlessly into the Vista Record from multiple systems including Bedside Monitors, PACS, ECG, Radiation Oncology, and more. This ensures a holistic view of patient health, enhancing care coordination and outcomes.
1.2. Smooth Vista Data Migration from Aria and Vista to Cerner
PCSIP supports seamless Vista Data Migration, aligning with VA's modernization goals and requirements. This streamlined process minimizes disruption and maximizes efficiency during system upgrades.
1.3. Single Sign-On and Dual Authentication
PCSIP provides Single Sign-On capabilities and is ready for dual authentication requirements, ensuring secure and efficient access for healthcare providers.
2. Modernization and Optimization of Workflows in Radiation Oncology
2.1. EHR Modernization
PCSIP integrates patient data from diverse sources into the Vista Record, including Bedside Monitors, PACS, ECG, and Radiation Oncology systems, supporting comprehensive EHR modernization.
2.2. Multiple AI Engine Support for Optimization
PCSIP supports multiple Al engines such as Azure OpenAl, AWS Titan, Google Gemini, Nuance, and Mistral. This flexibility ensures optimal performance and adaptability to various clinical needs including Ambient Al Dictation, clinical information extraction, outside records consolidation and auto-completion of clinical documentation.
2.3. Workflow Optimization
PCSIP optimizes existing departmental workflows across Emergency Departments, Surgery, Wards, Radiology, Oncology, Primary Care, and Mental Health. This enhances efficiency, reduces administrative burden, and improves patient care.
3. Patient Engagement and Standardization
3.1. Patient Education and Engagement Module
PCSIP includes a dedicated module for patient education and engagement, empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their health effectively.
3.2. VA-Wide Standardization of Charting
PCSIP supports VA-wide standardization of charting, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all medical records, improving patient safety and care quality.
3.3. Standardized Reporting with Power BI
PCSIP provides VA-wide reporting standardization using VA's existing Power Bl infrastructure. This enables comprehensive data analysis and informed decision-making.
4. Advanced Telehealth and Analytics for Radiation Oncology
4.1. Integrated Telehealth Infrastructure
PCSIP supports and integrates with the existing telehealth infrastructure, including Crisis Line services. This ensures continuity of care and immediate access to support for patients in crisis.
4.2. Extensive Analytics Capabilities
PCSIP offers extensive analytics, including Retrospective (Power Bl) and Predictive (R) analytics. These tools provide valuable insights for improving patient care and operational efficiency.
4.3. Enabling HIMSS Stage 7 EHR Requirements
PCSIP enables the VA to reach HlMSS Stage 7 EHR requirements, the highest level of electronic health record adoption, demonstrating our commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

The clinical outcomes are in three categories as described below.
1. Improved access to care by providing one-stop shop, providing lodging and transportation and improved scheduling and total access to care.
2. Speed to care with overall diagnosis and treatment completion in accelerated timeline, reducing 30-40 fractions to 1-5 fractions and consolidated consult, scheduling and treatment under a single entity.
3. Highest Quality of care by improving patient reported outcomes, improved clinical outcomes and improved care pathway compliance.
