Description
Since 2022, over 180 MOVES® SLC™ life support systems with integrated oxygen sources have been deployed in Ukraine to support surgical care in the immediate front-line vicinity and provide prolonged ground-based en-route care. This poster will present emerging data from Ukraine’s use of the MOVES® SLC™ and how the device addresses the challenges of oxygen as a scarce commodity on the battlefield. Key points include a summary on the importance of oxygen for casualty care and the challenges medical providers face when this need is not met. We will present the rationale for using MOVES® SLC™ as a viable logistical and medical solution in a battle environment while providing analysis on the data from MOVES® SLC™ used in Ukraine in a variety of uses across the continuum of care. Further insight will be shared in the form of testimonials and examples of medical and surgical care provided by Ukrainian doctors and medics using MOVES® SLC™ on the front line supporting how this technology can help to address the challenge of compromised oxygen supply.
