Description
Exposure informed care is a comprehensive dynamic process by which toxic exposures and their potential impact on the Veterans health are acknowledged, documented and considered in managing the Veteran’s overall health. The VA has fortified its commitment to provide generations of Veterans and their survivors with earned care and benefits with structure and standards by way of the 2022 PACT ACT Law. The VA recognizes the importance of ALL health care professionals becoming stakeholders in EIC, with prioritization of education, workforce, budget, in-reach, outreach, data collection, and research.
