In this presentation, I will delve into the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system. Our goal is to illuminate how AI is being leveraged to enhance the quality of care for veterans, making a tangible difference in their health outcomes and overall experience with the VA. AI is revolutionizing healthcare by providing innovative solutions to some of the most pressing challenges faced by medical professionals. At the VA, AI is harnessed to improve clinical efficiency, accuracy, and patient outcomes across various domains. This presentation aims to educate and inform attendees about the specific clinical use cases of AI at the VA, showcasing how these technologies are being applied to real-world scenarios. Throughout the presentation, I will provide real-world examples and case studies demonstrating how these AI applications are being implemented within the VA. Attendees will gain insights into the practical benefits and challenges of integrating AI into clinical settings, as well as the ongoing efforts to refine and expand these technologies. The aim is to equip the audience with a comprehensive understanding of how AI is reshaping veteran care at the VA. Additionally, we will discuss how the VA is meeting the Biden-Harris Executive Order with implementation of trustworthy AI and the completion of 2 tech sprints.
