Dr. Boccia earned his MD at U of MN/St. Mary’s. He completed a residency in internal medicine at UCLA affiliated hospitals & fellowships in hematology, oncology & bone marrow transplant at the combined UCLA-Veterans Administration Program & the National Cancer Institute. He is board certified in hematology, oncology & bone marrow transplant. Dr. Boccia’s additional roles include president of the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders, consulting medical director of the International Oncology Network (ION) Clinical Research Program & chairman of ION’s Medical Advisory Panel. Dr. Boccia has studied & published cancer patient’s supportive care. He has authored/ coauthored over 45 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
